Brahmins are a minority part of the Indian society. Nevertheless from time immemorial, Brahmins have contributed to the society and to the global village largely positively. It is time that support and encouragement comes out uninhibitedly and openly with a matter-of-fact attitude from the society in general and Govt. towards the Brahmin community members.
There are economic problems affecting the quality of life of Brahmins. And the launch of special welfare schemes for alleviation of these economic problems of Brahmins will come as a whiff of fresh air.
A most important welfare scheme can be a STUDY SCHOLARSHIP FOR NEEDY BRAHMINS. A modest sum of Rs. 100 crores towards this study scholarship welfare scheme will serve the national purpose and contribute to the well being of the Brahmin community.
As such, there are no special benefit schemes for Brahmins available from the Government's end.
